Do we need more and more taxes?
Marc believes we do not. Anythink resembling a new tax, fee, service charge, appropriation of any sort must have one heck of very good reason... very good!!!
Do we need more and more laws, rules, regulations or restictions on civil liberties?
Marc believes we do not. Such things must improve our lives, not restict them.
The 2nd amendment of the Bill of Rights ensures our freedom and safety, let's not mess with the second amendment.
What we need in our elected officials is accountability and communication. My email address is on the front of the web site, by all means use it. If elected my phone is available, please be respectful of the hour of the day.
Records of actions taken should be clear. Decisions made after careful thought and consideration from all points view. No one has a crystal ball, no one has all of the answers to all of the issues.
Ideas come from elected officials, perhaps the best ideas come from the community at large who are working to cope withissues, the stress of everyday living and those who seek to have their needs addressed. It is the job of your officials to listen, and work on getting issues fixed, not just set aside.
As a medical professional we learn listening more and speak less. Marc believes he can best serve by listening, understanding and considering solutions from available resources.
